Biography Ben Michaelson.

Ben Michaelson is an sixty-year-old childrens literature writer. He was born in Bolivia but had a Danish descent. He went to school in the fourth grade and was bullied by his race. When he went to seventh grade Ben and his family moved to the United States of America. He has won many awards after he had started full-time writing in 1984. He has won prizes such as the Internation Reading Association Award, the Western Writers' Golden Spurt award and many Readers' Choice Awards. Michaelsen owned a male American Black Bear for 26 years. He saw the bear as a family member until it's death on September 1, 2010.
