1. P.70 - To grimace: (Verb) To contort the face.
2. P.71 - To whimper: (Verb) To cry with low, plaintive, broken sounds.
3. P.82 -  Scrawny: (Adjective) Very thin and bony.
4. P.97 - Content: (Noun) The state or feeling of being satisfied.
5. P.108 - Tousled: (Noun) A disheveled or rumpled mass, especially of hair.
6. P.115 - Reluctantly: (Adjective) Struggling in opposition.
7. P.120 - Monotonous: (Adjective) Lacking in variety.
